Technical Product Marketing

With a Masters in Electrical Engineering I have spent the majority of my career in support of sales and product teams as a technical marketing manager. I have experience training internal as well as partner sales organizations, developing product documentation, webinars, customer presentations and participating in customer discussions. I have experience supporting both internal and external sales channels (distributors, system integrators and ISPs) and direct end customer relationships.

First understand the product being offered, second understand the sales team and third, identify the true customer problems and requirements. Product marketing is responsible for the integration of sales, product development and the marketplace to make sure the product continues to meet the requirements and the sales channel is equipped to explain the customer value.
